Instructor Exchange & Thanks!

I want to take the time to show my appreciation for all the hard work each of the Instructors puts into our classes. The cost of training in kung fu is balanced by the enthusiasm and expertise shown my our men in black. I believe that the Needham students are very lucky to have a change in the point of view of instruction from Instructor Muniz as we are so fortunate in Nashua to have Instructor Gable. He is in Nashua on Tuesdays and I encourage all who haven't taken one of his classes to do so next week!

Last night my stamina and strength were tested by Instructor Gable and Assistant Instructor Connolly. Each instructor focuses on a slightly different aspect of conditioning, form work and posture. This reminds me that it will be a long time before I'm even close to being a great martial artist.

During masters' training last night we worked on cannon fist. I had the good fortune to be paired with Assistant Instructor Connolly and he knows that I like to make self-defense as close to the real thing as is safe. I have been giving him a little grief over the comment on his favorite self-defense (check the forums). His comment lets us know how intense he can be over his love of the art. Thanks for putting your heart on your sleeve Jason! If you blog/comment more, I'll keep my peanut gallery comments to myself.
